Our Paper Mache earth is all about recycling. We're using old paper in the recycling bin, then we are pasting it to the wall, and then signing our names on it. We will be posting it up on the wall in the 6th grade hallways as a semi circle, so that way everybody will see who participated and who will help us save our planet earth.( Don't worry we're going to recycle it after!)Right now, we're in the process of painting the earth blue and green.we hope to gather more and more people in our group. . We are purposly showing the newspaper and scrap underneath the paint to show that we used newspapers. This gives a good effect. We will only be doing this during 2nd period, our exploratory period. we can not paint during 5th period because then, we will only have a little time to set up,paint, pour the paint, paint it, wash up stains on one's clothes, scrub the floor from the paint, see and fix the earth, and put everything back in place in 20 minutes. We hope you undersatnd.See you at school!Guess what?????????????? We completed our project!!!! Our earth with all our names on it, is hung up on the hallway wall where our previous project (P.A.U.S.E)used to be. . We're already. We are going to have a bake sale and try to reach kids and students to buy delicious treats, and collect money from them and try to plant a tree in the courtyard that way, our whole school can get invovled into doing this and breathe in a fresher school.
